Hi all, my name is Victoria. I am the daughter of a nurse and a firefighter, and I am so proud
to have found my place in this field. After a decade-long career in the hairdressing industry
I felt a pull toward medicine and fell in love with EMS. I am an EMT on the road, an
emergency room tech at a level 1 trauma center, and I teach and tutor EMT students. I started
paramedic school in September 2024 and look forward to my future in emergency
medicine.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology, which informs my approach to my patients
and my perspective on how we, as first responders, manage the things we see and do on the
job. Making mental health support more accessible and less stigmatized for our first
responder community is something I am very passionate about, and I’m honored to be a
part of this incredible team.
When I’m not working or studying, I’m likely running around in the woods, spending time
with my family, attending concerts, or watching horror movies. Fun fact: I’m a certified Reiki
practitioner. I love adventures, animals, ballet, coffee, and learning
