Thin Line Peer Support Team

The Thin Line Peer Support Team currently consists of twenty-six members consisting of members of all the Thin Lines who have committed to volunteering their time to provide peer support for their fellow First Responders, Active Military, Veterans (regardless of discharge status), Department of Corrections and ER Staff.

A 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization Fully funded by fundraisers, grants, and donations

The team members have all completed a certification course in assisting individuals and groups in crisis on a peer- to- peer level, accredited by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.

We partner with a team of mental health clinicians and other resources from across the Country who specialize in dealing with first responders and Military personnel, should additional help be needed.

The “Thin Lines” are potent symbols of solidarity and support for the brave men and women who serve our communities daily. Each color represents a different group of public safety professionals, acknowledging their unique roles and the challenges they face.

  • Thin Blue Line – Represents law enforcement officers, standing as a symbol of protection between order and chaos.
  • Thin Red Line – Honors firefighters who put their lives on the line to save others from fire and disaster.
  • Thin White Line – Represents emergency medical services (EMS) personnel who provide critical care in life-threatening situations.
  • Thin Gold Line – Recognizes dispatchers and communications personnel, the vital link between emergency responders and the public.
  • Thin Green Line – Stands for military and federal agents who protect our country and uphold national security.
  • Thin Silver Line – Pays tribute to correctional officers who work within our prison systems.

At Thin Line Peer Support, we’re dedicated to supporting all members of the thin line community. Whether on the front lines or behind the scenes, we stand together to promote mental health, resilience, and connection among those who serve.

Completely confidential: Anything you share with us will remain private, and even the fact that you reached out will not be disclosed. The only exception is if a referral to one of our clinicians is necessary.

Here to provide peer-to-peer support for whatever challenges you may be facing.
